lifelong-learning.lu, the national portal for lifelong learning, and Moovijob, a key player in employment in the Grand Duchy, have decided to join forces with a view to bringing the training offer and job-seeking closer together.
lifelong-learning.lu, managed by the National Institute for the development of continuing vocational training (Institut national pour le développement de la formation professionnelle continue – INFPC), lists an offer of more than 9,800 training courses covering every sector of activity in the Grand Duchy’s economy. The courses, offered by 248 training bodies, include daytime courses, courses during out-of-work hours, evening classes, weekend classes, and even distance learning. The portal also presents full information on the financial support available.
For its part, Moovijob has been supporting employment in the Grand Duchy since 2011 through its website at Moovijob.com and its organisation of major recruiting events in the Grand Duchy.
This collaboration meets the need to decompartmentalise continuing training in the world of work in order to make access to employment easier.
The training courses posted on the lifelong-learning.lu portal can now be accessed directly from the ‘Formation’ (training courses) page on the Moovijob.com website. Jobseekers using the Moovijob.com website can also look up training courses that aim to develop the skills they need for future employment or to hone the skills they already have.
