Orbium recruits in Luxembourg at the Moovijob Tour DeLux

Moovijob: What kind of profiles are you looking for the upcoming job fair in March?
Natali Honnay: Orbium is a rapidly growing consulting firm with an exclusive focus on the financial services industry. We are a global firm with offices in Frankfurt Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Manila, Paris, Singapore, Sydney, Warsaw and Zurich. For our Offices in Paris, Luxembourg and Frankfurt we are looking for Junior IT Consultants and Junior Business Analysts.

 

Moovijob: What are the prior skills and qualifications to join Orbium?
N.H.:Orbium is looking for open-minded and dynamic people who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good command of written and spoken English as well as German and/or French for our offices in Frankfurt, Paris and Luxembourg. Our ideal Consultant should have a Master degree in IT, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent, with strong technical abilities, in particular Oracle. Know-how in PL/SQL would be an added advantage.

 

Moovijob: What is your seduction weapon with a candidate?
N.H.:Our Graduate Program offers invaluable on-the-job development/trainings and will expose you to all the stages of the Project Life Cycle. Our consultants most value: referrals to international projects, the unlimited possibilities for development opportunities through working on the implementation of central systems in major banks and the corporate culture in Orbium.

 

Moovijob: A detail on a CV that you hate?
N.H.: #1 Spelling & grammar. Even in roles where writing is not necessarily a key skill, poor writing shows a lack of care which no manager will want in their team.
#2 Writing lots, but saying nothing. Why use twenty words when five will do? We aren’t looking for you to explain everything you’ve ever done, just a few of the key elements that will persuade us you can do the job.
#3 Gaps. Missing activity history (work, training, travel, etc.)

 

Moovijob: 5 candidates come to talk to you at the same time, which one do you choose?
